At Indemnity, our remuneration policy is transparent, proportionate, and consistent with our duty to deliver fair value to clients. We ensure that our earnings do not create potential conflicts of interest that undermine the quality, suitability, or value of the products and services we provide.

We provide our broker advisory services for no additional fee and will only be remunerated once you decide to purchase a policy.

How we are Paid

We may receive remuneration in one or more of the following ways. We may receive commission from insurers when arranging or renewing policies on your behalf. In some cases, we may charge a fee for our services. Where appropriate, our remuneration may consist of both insurer commission and a client fee. Where this applies, we aim to be clear about the basis of our remuneration and the value of the service being provided.

From time to time, we may receive other forms of permitted remuneration connected to insurance distribution, provided these do not conflict with our regulatory obligations or the fair value of the overall proposition.

Conflicts of Interest

We take reasonable steps to identify and manage conflicts of interest in our remuneration arrangements. We do not allow how we are paid to override our obligation to act in the best interests of our clients. Where a potential conflict arises, we seek to manage it fairly and transparently.

Our Fair Value Commitment

We assess remuneration as part of our broader fair value framework. This means we consider whether the overall cost to the client, including premiums and any fees, are reasonable when compared to the benefits of the product and the service we provide.

The FCA’s price and value outcome requires firms to consider whether the price paid is reasonable relative to expected benefits, and to review this over the life of the product or service.

Ongoing Review

Our remuneration arrangements are subject to periodic review as part of our product governance, oversight, and Consumer Duty process. We monitor whether our remuneration remains appropriate and whether the products and services we distribute continue to provide fair value to the target market.
